The newest addition to the successful comedy series, Housefull 5 starring Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, and Jacqueline Fernandez, has crossed the ₹300 crore mark worldwide at the box office.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film is directed by Dostana director Tarun Mansukhani.
The movie released in cinemas worldwide on June 6 in a two-part format called Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B.
Interestingly, both halves of the film start on the same note but have different endings, with the last 20 minutes presenting different climaxes to viewers.
As per a press release, the domestic collection of the film has surpassed ₹200 crore, adding to its staggering global total of over ₹300 crore in gross collections.
Housefull 5 is the fifth installment of the hit franchise that started in 2010, with the film's releases following in 2012, 2016, and 2019.
The cast also features Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma, Jackie Shroff, Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, and Sanjay Dutt. Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa debuts in Bollywood with the film.
